We currently have an opening for a Special Educator in Bronx, NY.
Job Description:
Provide special instruction to preschool children with developmental delays and disabilities. Utilize specialized instructional techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis instruction. Develop and implement instructional activities according the goals of the child’s individualized educational plan. Coordinate with parents and rehabilitation professionals to develop recommendations for the child’s educational goals and activities.
Requirements:
- NYS Permanent Certification- Special Education OR Current NYS Professional Certification- Students with Disabilities; Birth to 2nd Grade
- Must be self motivated, patient and a team player
- Knowledge of MS Office a plus
Candidates fulfilling the above requirements will be preferred.
